BIO
I was born and raised in Memphis Tennessee. I am a graduate of Fairley High School home of the Bulldogs, and I studied Criminal Justice at Christian Brothers University. I later joined the correctional team with the Shelby County Department of Correctional as an officer, and later joined the City of Memphis Police Department as a Police Service Tech, Officer, Investigator, Assistant POST Coordinator and later served as a Sergeant with the Department with over 20 years of service. I served the community in which I patrolled with great pride, compassion, and always finding ways to make a difference in the lives of the citizens I served. I recently retired as a full time Sergeant with the Department, and currently serving as a Community Impact Officer.
I am an active member of Greater Corinthian Church where I serves as the Assistant Pastor under the great leadership of Pastor J.T. Walker. I am currently earning a bachelor’s degree in business. I am married with two amazing sons, a host of grandchildren and a great granddaughter. I have participated in the Blanket Drive for the homeless Veterans, Food Drive, and the Christmas Toy Drive with The City of Memphis and a 25-year contributor with the United Way Foundation. I am dedicated and committed to making a great impact and a positive change in the Veterans Community. I recently retired as a full time Sergeant with the Department, and currently serving as a Community Impact Officer.
